⚠️Before you take your Wi-Fi Station out into the field⚠️
  • **Contact eShepherd Support at eshepherd.support@gallagher.com**

We will then pre-load the correct Firmware file onto the Wi-Fi Station. During this time, the Wi-Fi Station needs to be within Cellular service. Once the Firmware file has been loaded, the Wi-Fi Station can operate independently.

Step 11.

IMPORTANT!!
  • We need to know where the Wi-Fi Station is located!

Please create a Landmark on the eShepherd Web App or Mobile App to indicate where the Wi-Fi Station will be or is located.

Step 12.

  • Rotate the selector knob clockwise to the “1” position to turn on the Wi-Fi Station. The green LED to the right of the selector knob will turn on.

Step 13.

  • Now you are ready to take the Wi-Fi Station out into the field where the Animals are located.
  • The Wi-Fi Station has an effective radius of 100m [~100 yards].
  • Place the Wi-Fi Station in a secure location (this could be in the “Exclusion Zone” (example shown).
  • As Animals enter the effective radius of the Wi-Fi Station, they will connect and download the new Firmware file.
  • The Customer Success Team will let you know when the operation has completed.
